The new Camcorder AG-AC90 records on memory card and combines all the elements demanded by professionals, from high image quality to advanced functions, all combined with a simple operation and an elegant and easy to handle design.
Starting from an elegant and ergonomic design, easy to use but with professional functions, Panasonic He has announced a new Camcorder in his AVCCAM family. The new AG-AC90, which records on memory card, combines all the elements demanded by professionals, from high image quality to advanced functions.
Its zoom lens covers from a wide angle of 29.8 mm (equivalent in 35mm) to a 12X optical zoom, maintaining a high luminosity of F1.5. It incorporates three BSI type MOS image sensors (posterior lighting), which offer high sensitivity, full HD resolution and a high s/n relationship. The AVCHD recording on SD memory card is compatible with both the PS mode, for the production of Full-HD images in progressive, as with the professional pH mode. All this provides the camera operator, the image quality and the video format that you need for the collection of news and the production of images.
Other professional operational features of this camera are the triple aanual ring (focus, zoom and iris), which bring the versatility and sensation of interchangeable lenses closer; XLR microphone and audio tickets, and remote terminals that provide the expansion capacity required by professional applications.
The last Camcorder of Panasonic will be available as of October 2012, although we can see it in IBC 2012.
Key features
One of the details that stand out in the AG-AC90 is its 12x zoom lens with a great angle of 29.8mm (equivalent in 35 mm). When the smart digital zoom is used, the camera reaches up to 25x of zoom continuously. In addition, it also has 2x, 5x and 10x digital zoom functions. The exclusive Nano Surface Coating Coating System of Panasonic minimizes double images and reflexes, and its high luminosity of F1.5 allows very clear image processing.
For its part, the optical hybrid five -axis image stabilizer allows stability to be maintained although the images are captured camera in hand.
Highlight, on the other hand, its high sensitivity thanks to its three BSI type sensors (posterior lighting). These sensors corresponding to 1/4.7 inches have an effective resolution of 2,190,000 pixels. This allows to capture excellent images with high definition and with a good reproduction of color even in places with little light. The image processing circuit, which is appropriate to professional use, produces a very natural gradation and very clear details.
From the point of view of its use, the new camera is very easy to use thanks to the triple manual ring and the high -definition LCD monitor.
The lens is equipped with manual rings to control the focus, zoom and iris, which allows the type of fast and intuitive work that is generally associated with interchangeable lens cameras. The 8.89cm (3.5 -inch) LCD touch screen, which is easily saved within the front of the upper handle, has approximately 1,150,000 resolution points that allow ensuring the approach, and includes focus assistant and Zebra patterns. The LCD monitor can be rotated up to 270 degrees to facilitate chopped and against, as well as self -speech.
As regards recording, the AG-AC90 offers the possibility of working in professional AVCHD modes: the PS mode for the acquisition of Full HD images (1920 x 1080) in progressive (50p) and the HP mode for high quality, in multiformate HD/SD (model 50 Hz: 1080/50p, 50i, 25p, 576/50i: and model 60 Hz: 1080/60P 30p, 24p, 480/60i).
Thanks to the use of two SDXC/SDHC/SD cards, the camera operator can select backup recording. Also review that the camera allows you to capture fixed 3 megapixel images during the video recording itself.
Specifications associated with professional use
From the professional point of view, the AG-AC90 contributes two XLR audio channels (microphone / +48 v selectable inputs); Audio level controls and independent input selectors for CH1 and CH2; HDMI output, AV Multi output (D -connector, compound video and audio) and USB connector; and remote terminals for remote control of iris, focus and zoom, as well as start and stop of the recording.
In addition, the upper ASA includes a REC button along with a three -step zoom speed control, thus facilitating its use even more.
