Panasonic has proposed at IFA 2011 a bridge between amateur and professional users, both in quality and price, to carry out stereoscopic productions with the launch of the HDC-Z10000.

Featuring Panasonic's exclusive Double 3MOS system for recording high-quality Full HD images in 2D and 3D, this advanced system consists of two 3MOS sensors (with an effective resolution of 6.57 megapixels) with excellent color and detail reproduction. The two large diameter F1.5 lenses are mounted independently, and treated for the first time in a camcorder with nano-coating technology. This significantly reduces ghosting and glare to reproduce a sharp and clear image.

The size of the camcorder makes it easy to carry and allows for very flexible operation that meets the needs of professionals with improved manual functions. For example, the three independent rings for adjusting zoom, focus and iris control that together aim to create very detailed images. Featuring Intelligent Auto (iA) and a powerful new image stabilizer, HYBRID OIS+ allows users to capture beautiful, stable images even when shooting on the move.

A wide range of situations can be captured thanks to the versatility of the dual lens, from 32mm wide angle (29.8mm in 2D mode) to 10xg zoom (12x for 2D mode recordings, 23x for Smart Zoom recordings). In this way, situations can be captured in very small places or in spaces where the recording objects are distant. The Full HD 3D image achieved is exceptional. In addition, the 3MOS system provides the same 2D effects, achieving precise and sharp image quality in combination with progressive recording. The dual lens really shines when recording in low light conditions and allows the user to record brilliant images with minimal noise in low light situations. Using the high speed of the new Crystal Engine Pro II, with its improved resolution and noise reduction, optimal Full HD image quality is achieved and even in very detailed parts of the image. The same level of performance also occurs in 2D image quality, in combination with Full HD 1920 x 1080.

Surround sound

In addition to microphones for Dolby Digital 5.1-channel stereo surround sound/2-channel recording, the HDC-Z10000 features two XLR audio inputs with 48V phantom power for external microphones. Thanks to this, clear sound is recorded with minimal noise. From Panasonic, they highlight that this camcorder is number 1 in the industry in terms of the minimum 3D macro recording distance with the possibility of recording close-ups from 45cm (approx. 3.5 cm when shooting in 2D), maintaining an equivalent angle of 32mm with a double lens of the 3D camcorder.

In this way, it is possible to capture images that have traditionally been difficult to record in 3D, such as flowers, small animals and jewelry, even with close-ups in 3D and without losing any details.

With its high quality and professionalism in both functions and audio, in addition to the LCD touch screen and electronic viewfinder, the HDC-Z10000 is a top-level professional camcorder aimed at the semi-professional user.
