TV Globo International joins OTT platform MyGlobe TV

The Brazilian broadcaster joins the international content offered by the Globecast platform.

TV Globo Internacional has closed an agreement with Globecast in order to join its MyGlobeTV platform.

MyGlobeTV is a television platform that offers international and thematic audiovisual content directly to its subscribers in the United States through IP and without the need for a satellite dish.

Launched last July, MyGlobeTv currently includes 16 channels, with plans to increase this number in the coming months.

Lisa Coelho, CEO of Globecast Americas, commented that "with MyGlobeTV, an important and growing community of Brazilians and Portuguese in the United States, and in fact any viewer with a broadband connection, will be able to follow TV Globo Internacional's broadcasts with real-time news and live sports, as well as soap operas, miniseries, children's programs and entertainment."
