Harris Broadcast Communications and Corporación Video, Harris representative in Venezuela, recently organized a Technical Seminar in Caracas (Venezuela).

Within the framework of the presentation that Harris y Video Corporation Recently held in Caracas the new version of Selenium (the industry's first integrated media convergence platform), which includes new features for ISDB-Tb, and the launch of Versio, Harris' new solution for simple, efficient and integrated Playout, which will help clients launch their channels more quickly or expand existing platforms, several information sessions were offered.

On the first day, aimed at the main television and technical channels in the industry, Eng. Carlos Lira presented the standards and structure of ISDB-Tb, and Harris' portfolio of ULX, UAX, VLX and VAX transmitters.

On the second day, in the morning session, Eng. Eutdel García presented the solutions related to Television and Radio Studios, such as: Processing, Routers, Servers, Multiviewers, Master Control, Graphics, Editors, Instrumentation and Measurement, Loudness Control and Quality Control.

In the afternoon, and with an audience belonging to the Telcos segment, Mr. García highlighted Selenio and MAM (Invenio), under the focus of Processing and Transport, and Networking for Telcos.

From Harris, the Regional Sales Manager Juanchy Mejía attended, and the speakers Carlos Lira and Eutdel García, both Pre-Sales Engineers; and on behalf of Corporación Video, there were Oscar Ghersi, Director, Daniel Cadavieco, Business Development Manager, Eduardo Rojas, Sales Manager, and José Antonio Vásquez, Head of Service.

The support from clients was notable and they expressed having been very satisfied with the content of the conferences.

Juanchy Mejía, Harris Regional Sales Manager, commented that "our line of transmission, infrastructure and servers products lead the Venezuelan market and we are committed to providing constant advice, support and support to our clients in the country.
