The Council of Ministers authorizes the transmission of the LaSexta license to Antena 3

The transmission had already been authorized in June 2012, but it was not formalized within the expected period of three months, so Antena 3 has requested authorization again.

The Council of Ministers last Friday, October 5, authorized the transmission to the company Antena 3 Televisión of the license for the provision of the audiovisual communication service owned by Gestora de Inversiones Audiovisuales La Sexta. The transmission had already been authorized in June 2012, but it was not formalized within the expected period of three months, so Antena 3 has requested authorization again.

After analyzing the request for transmission of the license, it has been verified that it meets all the requirements required by the second section of article 29 of the General Law of Audiovisual Communication.

The transfer must be formalized by the interested parties in a public deed within a maximum period of three months from its notification. Once formalized, it must be communicated to the competent audiovisual authority, providing a copy of the deeds for the purposes of their registration in the corresponding administrative records.
