Playstation 4 will be compatible with 4K resolution

On the other hand, it has launched an interesting experience at the Sony Building in Tokyo in which, through the use of two projectors with SXRD technology and native 4K resolution, images of the game will be projected. Gran Turismo 5 in 3D on a 200-inch screen.
With the projectors (model SRX-T110) you will be able to create a 3D image with full 4K resolution and, taking advantage of the 200 inches of the projection area, put the viewer into the game, one of PlayStation's greatest hits.

But Sony's plans regarding 4K do not end there. The long-awaited PlayStation 4, whose release date has not yet been made official, will support 4,000 lines of resolution. Already at the IFA in Berlin this year, Sony gave a clue by presenting a PS2 game rescaled to 4K and the version of GT5 Prologue with 4K resolution developed by the company Polyphony Digital.
If the PlayStation 3 was a boost to the positioning of Blu-ray technology, it could be expected that the new version of the popular console will serve to bring 4K closer to consumers.
