PlayBox Neo will be compatible with Octopus Newsroom

PlayBox Neo Expands the software connectivity of your broadcast server ProductionAirBox Neo-20, with support now for the system Octopus Newsroom.

Developed from AirBox Neo-20, ProductionAirBox Neo-20 offers features designed specifically for live production, including the ability to trim or reposition each clip in a playout while the scheduled session is on air. The broadcast position can be changed on the fly with commands such as “next”, “jump” or “shuttle”. These changes are made without interrupting the current broadcast session.

A single ProductionAirBox Neo-20 server can be configured with up to four independent players. Each player has a separate playlist and broadcast control. The four SDI interfaces can be assigned as program or preview outputs. The system offers interfaces single-channel or multi-channel user to speed up the operation. Content manipulation and delivery can be performed with the near-zero latency required by the fast-paced work environment of news, sports, and live production.

In the ProductionAirBox Neo-20 playlist you can import a wide range of file formats and resolutions, with up to 16 digital audio channels to accommodate multi-channel programs in several languages.

The feature set also includes fast forwarding or rewinding at up to 32x speed, mixing multiple video resolutions and formats into a single playlist, logical trimming of content, multi-channel audio output, plus support for a wide variety of compression standards and media containers.
