Fish TV installs a modern media management platform based on VSN technology

The first online channel in Latin America dedicated to fishing has 100% in-house production with 35 programs in HD (XDCAM HD 50 MXF) that represent more than 240 minutes per week.

Fish TV, the first online channel in Latin America dedicated to fishing with 100% of its own production and that has 35 programs in HD (XDCAM HD 50 MXF) producing more than 240 weekly minutes of information and entertainment, has opted for the implementation of an open MAM and archive solution. VSN (VSNArchive), based on the new Spider platform, which combines content management and business processes, facilitating multiplatform distribution.

VSNArchive manages the entire production and post-production chain (with 7 Adobe Premiere systems over a 10Gbps network) of content in XDCAM HD 50 MXF, as well as the archiving and material recovery processes (16 clients) with a parametric and customizable data model for each client.

The definition of the client's workflows could be implemented in record time, thanks to the BPM (Business Process Manager) module called VSNWorkflow Manager, included in the platform. A 100TB online storage and an LTO library with SGL driver (fully integrated with VSNArchive) complete a fully scalable and automated solution.
