Álvaro Fernández is the new editor-in-chief of Continuity of News Services on TVE, while Ignacio García Mostazo has been appointed director of Los Desayunos on TVE.

The director of Spanish Television Information Services, Julio Somoano, has appointed Álvaro Fernández as editor-in-chief of Continuity and Ignacio García Mostazo as director of TVE's Los Desayunos.

Álvaro Fernández joins as editor-in-chief of Continuity of News Services at TVE, to coordinate the work of the newsrooms of Canal 24 Horas and iTVE. Álvaro Fernández comes from Cadena COPE, where he was deputy director of the news program The flashlight.

Ignacio García Mostazo has been appointed director of the morning debate and interview program TVE Breakfasts. García Mostazo comes from the editorial staff of Telemadrid's Information Services, where he edited the program The Circle, which is broadcast in the same time slot as TVE Breakfasts.

Juan Manuel Romero will continue in the morning news gathering as deputy director and is also in charge of directing and presenting Get started in 24 hours, a program about entrepreneurs that Canal 24 Horas premieres in December.
