"Hybrid TV for Europe and Beyond Symposium": Paris debate the future of hybrid TV
The “Conservatoire Niedermeyer” Auditorium in Issy Les Moulineaux (92 Paris) hosts on December 17 and 18 the ‘Symposium Hybrid TV for Europe and Beyond’.
On December 17 and 18, HD Forum, the HBBTV consortium and the Spanish Association of Interactive TV Companies (AEDTI), organize in Paris the Simposium Hybrid TV for Europe and beyond. This event will take place the auditorium of the "Conservatoire Niedermeyer" in Issy Les Moulyineaux (92 Paris).
En varios países de Europa los protagonistas de la televisión han aunado sus esfuerzos para asegurar el éxito de la norma HbbTV. Bien sean productores de aplicaciones y servicios, editores, distribuidores o radiodifusores, fabricantes o reguladores nacionales del sector audiovisual, todos trabajan para ofrecer una televisión conectada más atractiva a los consumidores.
Con esta tecnología se tendrá acceso en el televisor de manera más fluida a una gran variedad de servicios HbbTV, desde las redes terrestres, satelitales, por cable, IPTV y, por supuesto, a través de la conexión a Internet.
After a first symposium in 2011 that stressed the dynamic development of the standard on a dozen countries, this event tries to measure the progression made by HBBTV since then. During the event, the new countries that have adopted the norm and the new services deployed through Europe and beyond.
This edition, which will cover two days, will present the situation of hybrid services in various countries in Europe and the world, presenting both the most innovative applications and experiences. The service providers, broadcasting and manufacturers will share the analysis of the results obtained. Participants may also attend demonstrations offered by terminal manufacturers, content suppliers and application developers.
