Spanish production led television primetime in 2012
Spanish production in 2012 has continued to be the most watched in different formats, whether fiction, entertainment or contests. Especially in prime time, in many cases exceeding the network's average share.
FAP, representative of Spanish audiovisual producers, values very positively that national production, again this year 2012, has been the most watched on television, on all channels, and is only surpassed by some news programs and sports broadcasts.
Among the most viewed broadcasts of the year, it is worth highlighting the series Red Eagle (Globomedia) and the program The Voice (Boomerang), according to data from Windward Communication.
Pedro Pérez, president of FAPAE, has highlighted that “national production, in its different formats (fiction, programs, reality shows, contests, animation or documentaries) occupies a large part of the schedule of all networks, in prime time and other times, with excellent audience results.”
