Strong Spanish presence at IBC 2012
Exportation and internationalization have become essential strategies for Spanish companies that, according to AMETIC, exported more than 50% of their production in 2011 (with a year-on-year growth of 9.9%).
Since 1967, IBC has become the most influential event in the electronic media and entertainment industry, with the participation of more than 50,000 high-level professionals and more than 1,300 suppliers and exhibiting companies from 160 countries.
As usual, Spanish technology will have a relevant role in this great international fair for the sector.
The Multisector Association of Electronics, Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Digital Content Companies (AMETIC), with the collaboration and support of the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX), will coordinate the participation of 24 of the 35 Spanish companies participating in this edition of IBC. In total, they will add 778 m2, which represents an increase of 18% compared to the last year.
Spanish exhibitors will show at the RAI Center their latest technological proposals in areas such as media storage and management, graphics and virtual studios, automation and playout, broadcast and radiant systems, radio equipment, signal cabling and routing, post-production... and export and internationalization have become essential strategies for Spanish companies that in 2011, according to AMETIC, exported more than 50% of their production (with an interannual growth of 9.9%).
The cutting-edge technology used in the successful migration to DTT in Spain has positioned the Spanish industry at a world leadership level. Spain has been the first country to launch DTT and high definition using equipment, for the most part, “made in Spain”.
Acorde, AEQ, Albiral, Arantia, Aruna Smart Technologies, AVP Europa, Brainstorm Multimedia, Broadcast Meditel, BTESA, Conducfil, Craltech Electronica, Egatel, Farmers Wife, Hispasat, Itelsis, Kroma Telecom, MeteoGroup España, Mier Comunicaciones, OMB Broadcast, Percon, Prodys, Promax Electronica, Roland Systems Group, Rymsa, Sapec, SGO, Sugar Factory, SVP Broadcast Microwave, Tedial, TheLight, TRedess, TTI, Vector 3, VSN and Xpertia, are the companies individually, or under the AMETIC umbrella, will attend IBC 2012.
