Strong presence of Spanish companies at NAB

This year NAB 2011 has the participation of a total of 18 Spanish companies, 38 percent more than the last edition, and an exhibiting area of ​​760 square meters.

The Spanish participation in NAB 2011 is managed by the Multisector Association of Electronics, Information and Communication Technologies, Telecommunications and Digital Content Companies (AMETIC) in collaboration with the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and the Information Society (SETSI) and the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX).

In this edition, Spain will have an exhibition area of ​​a total of 760 square meters, divided between an Institutional Pavilion located in the central hall of 180 square meters, from where the high quality of Spanish equipment and its advanced solutions in the field of radio broadcasting will be promoted, plus another 580 square meters of surface for the representative companies, 8 percent more business land compared to the 2010 edition.

On the other hand, AMETIC will be present in the institutional pavilion with an information stand available to Spanish companies, delegations, and visitors to facilitate the management of any aspect related to the event.

On the occasion of this event, the president of AMETIC, Jesús Banegas, and the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and the Information Society, Bernardo Lorenzo, will participate in a working breakfast organized by the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Los Angeles, in which the current situation of the sector and the business opportunities it offers to Spanish companies will be analyzed.
