Stream Tv: autostereoscopy thanks to 2160 pixels of vertical resolution
The new Ultra-D technology, developed by Stream TV, allows you to display 3D content and converted 2D images, without the need for glasses and with a wide viewing angle.
Stream Tv Networks has just presented the new Ultra-D technology that allows you to do without uncomfortable glasses, achieving a stereoscopic immersive sensation without the need for native 3D content.
Using a combination of hardware and software, Ultra-D technology (also known as 2160p, due to the vertical resolution of 2160 pixels in progressive scan) will allow the development of autostereoscopic displays without the need to use glasses both in native 3D content and in images converted from 2D to 3D.
This technology allows a wide viewing angle, allowing users to control the depth of the 3D effect. It is not yet known when the first commercial models with Ultra-D technology could be available or the cost at which these screens will be marketed.
