After leading the spin-off operation of Technicolor two years ago, Alain Andreoli will leave his position at the head of Grass Valley, now in the hands of Francisco Partners, at the end of January.

Tim ThorsteinsonGrass Valley has hired Tim Thorsteinson as its new president and CEO to lead the next stage in the company's evolution.

A professional with long experience in the broadcat sector, Thorsteinson has previously held senior management positions such as president of the broadcast and communications division of Harris Corp or general management at Leitch. Tim was most recently President and CEO of Enablence Technologies.

After leading Technicolor's spin-off operation two years ago, Alain Andreoli will step down from his position at the end of January. Alain leaves behind a highly transformed independent company, with ambition to reposition itself as an end-to-end solutions provider.
