Grass Valley provides local support in Latin America for the new LDX series
Grass Valley has just completed the formation of a network of qualified engineers to provide first-line support throughout Latin America for the new LDX series of cameras.
The LDX combines flexibility, operational excellence and exceptional image performance, proving to be a true success in the Latin American market. For this reason, the Global Services team at Grass Valley has launched a training program in Breda (Netherlands) exclusively aimed at training professionals from Latin America.
The goal of the training program is to ensure that solution providers are equipped with a deep knowledge and skill base to provide the first line of support to the new LDX series cameras and their end users. The program consisted of technical camera theory and an overview of operations, service procedures and diagnostics, as well as different handheld camera workshops, tailored to all levels of experience.
This training also covered aspects related to both software and hardware in all aspects of the end-to-end system, both for triax and for fiber transmission.
Tim Ordaz, vice president of Americas Services and Global Technical Assistance Centers in Grass Valley, highlighted that "there has been enormous interest in the LDX series cameras since their launch in September. Our commitment to offering quality customer service in all regions has always been our top priority, and we are very pleased to work with our Latin American solution providers in support of their efforts to provide the best customer service and support available."
