Panasonic shows at ISE a complete capture and production solution, based on IP network
Useful for a wide range of applications, these cameras demonstrate at ISE 2013 their ability to create high definition content in a simple and efficient way.
The Broadcast and ProAV division is showing at the booth Panasonic at ISE 2013 the highlight of its line of integrated cameras with remote control. The company exhibits compact HD cameras with remote control and high image quality that offer precision solutions even in adverse recording conditions.
The AW-HE120 camera is small, lightweight, HD/SD switchable, integrates pan-tilt movement and offers both SDI and HDMI outputs. Its IP connection allows for simple and flexible system configuration. Thanks to an easy and quick installation, and being able to choose the color between black and white, it integrates perfectly with the decoration and architecture of the environment.
The field of applications of the AW-HE120 camera is very wide, such as live production of entertainment and reality television programs. Its performance is high in situations where reliable, robust and easy-to-conceal equipment is required, capable of capturing high-quality images in poorly lit environments.
A relevant success story is the Ronnie Scott Jazz Club in London: the joint use of AW-HE120 cameras and AG-HPX250 handheld camcorder allows live performances to be broadcast through its website, thus expanding its audience. Thanks to the 100 positioning memories, it is extremely simple to change views instantly and thus offer dynamic content, rich in different points of view.
For its part, the AW-HE2 is a low-cost model that allows video over IP. It incorporates a 14 megapixel 1/4.37 type MOS sensor and super-resolution technology to achieve an “iA” zoom of approximately 2x. It has a small and light body; In addition, it has a built-in microphone, electronic pan/tilt/zoom controls and a wide 95-degree viewing angle. In addition, it has 9 positioning memories. It also has an HDMI output, supporting multiple HD/SD formats, among which the Full HD progressive format (1080/50p) stands out. The AW-HE2 is an ideal camera for use in video conferencing, distance learning classrooms and other applications where a small portable camera is needed, with an unbeatable quality-price ratio.
The AW-HE60 series integrated HD cameras are equipped with a 1/3 Full-HD type MOS sensor, and support multiple HD/SD formats. The AW-HE60S model offers an HD/SD-SDI output, while the AW-HE60H model offers an HDMI output supporting 1080p mode. Both models also have analog component and composite video output, through an optional cable. In addition, they incorporate the dynamic range extension (DRS) function to improve response in high-contrast scenes, and the hybrid digital noise reduction function to eliminate afterimages, even in low-light situations. Newly, the AW-HE60 camera is equipped with an infrared “night vision mode”, excellent for filming in low-light areas.
The AW-RP120 panel is Panasonic's latest remote camera controller, supporting integrated IP cameras. Its IP connection allows for a large-scale system configuration, allowing up to 100 remote cameras to be controlled from multiple simultaneous controllers. The new joystick allows for precise pan and tilt operation, and the new control panel design adds dials for colorimetry adjustment. In addition, it allows you to retrieve a positioning memory for all the cameras in the same group at the same time, facilitating operation with a single person. The AW-RP120 controller is ideal for a multitude of applications such as live event production, conference rooms or rentals.
Another fantastic product, especially for live event production, is the AW-HS50 mixer. Compact and professional, this video switcher is equipped with four SDI inputs, one DVI-D input, two SDI outputs and one DVI-D output. Despite its compact, half-rack-width size, the switcher incorporates professional features such as frame synchronizer and multi-display function, which allows all inputs, as well as preamp and program, to be displayed on a single screen.
