Wohler promotes Edel García as global vice president of sales for RadiantGrid

García joined Wohler last September as sales director for Central and South America. Previously he was sales director at Avid for Latin America.

Wohler has announced the promotion of Edel García to the position of vice president of global sales for RadiantGrid, its new media automation platform.

In his new role, Garcia will focus on leading a team of sales professionals focusing on leveraging the powerful file-based workflow capabilities offered by RadiantGrid, including transcoding, standards conversion, loudness correction, quality control and file distribution.

Carl J. Dempsey, president and CEO of Wohler, highlighted that "with 25 years of experience and success in the enterprise market on average, along with his extensive experience in file-based solutions, Edel is a key asset in the growth of the business. García se unió a Wohler en septiembre de 2012 como director de ventas para América Central y del Sur. Anteriormente fue director de ventas en Avid para América Latina. Anteriormente, había sido vicepresidente de ventas para Latinoamérica en Leitch. En Sony Business & Professional Latin America, García ocupó cargos en ingeniería y, más tarde, en la gestión de ventas senior. Es licenciado en ciencias en ingeniería electrónica por la Universidad Internacional de Florida.
