Dejero will expand its range of links on mobile networks at NAB 2013

In Las Vegas, Dejero will present its latest innovations in stabilized cellular technology that uses mobile wireless networks to transmit high-quality video for ENG news capture.

Dejero Live+

And NAB 2013, Dejero will show some of its latest link solutions on mobile networks. Among them, Dejero's Live+ platform stands out, which includes the LIVE+ 20/20 transmitter, a robust and portable stabilized cellular transmitter for a wide variety of electronic news gathering applications; Live+ NewsBook software facilitates cellular streaming capabilities on a laptop or personal computer; and the Live+ Mobile app for iPhone and iPad.

New Dejero Live+ Vset

In Las Vegas we will see a 1U vehicle version of Dejero's Live+ 20/20 transmitter. The adaptive bitrate encoder included in Dejero's Live+ Vset, which has been designed for use with satellite and microwave mobile units, reduces latency and improves the reliability of satellite video ingests. For example, when rain and other weather conditions result in a reduction in Ka-band satellite bandwidth, the Dejero Live+ Vset automatically detects the drop in bandwidth when transmitting over cellular networks. Even under perfect conditions, when the bulk of data is being sent via satellite, the Live+ VSET takes advantage of the reduced latency of a cellular connection to check for errors and send missing packets, thus leading to an overall reduction in latency over the entire Ka-band system.

Dejero también presentará una versión Android de su aplicación Live+ Mobile, que permitirá que los broadcasters tradicionales y aquellos trabajando en línea puedan transmitir video en directo HD o SD de alta calidad desde teléfonos y tabletas Android seleccionadas. La aplicación LIVE+ Mobile, que ya fue anunciada el pasado verano para dispositivos iOS, es la primera de su tipo en el sector.
