Dejero improves its Smart Blending network aggregation technology
An IBC 2024, Dejero has demonstrated improved algorithms for its Smart Blending Technology network aggregation technology, as well as the new EnGo 3x backpack and GateWay 3220 network aggregation device.
The technology Smart Blending combine simultaneously multiple wired IP connections (broadband, fiber) and wireless (3G/4G/5G and satellite) from multiple providers to form a “network of networks” virtual Dejero. Your new improved algorithm, whose advantages we have seen at IBC 2024, makes the connection even more stable in all latency configurations. In this way, Dejero ensures that users will be able to transmit high-quality live video with glass-to-glass latency as low as 0.5 seconds through linked mobile networks.
The company has demonstrated in Amsterdam the power of Smart Blending Technology through devices such as the backpack EnGo 3x, which has support multicam and mode Gateway, with which broadcast teams and production companies can broadcast breaking news, quickly transfer files to prepare and upload packages in the field, and configure high-bandwidth access points for multiple devices. This wireless broadband Internet connectivity increases the capacity of data-intensive applications such as writing systems or editing tools; create wider coverage areas, and improves reliability thanks to the diversity of the connection. Also supports VPNs to provide secure access to an organization's networks, alleviating growing concerns about data protection.
Beyond broadcast environments, Dejero has emphasized the suitability of these systems for the production of films, television programs and advertisements. And, with these systems, teams can benefit from a “reliable and ultra-fast” connection to collaborate in real time with third parties and accelerate the delivery of content from the set directly to post-production, regardless of location.
The Engo 3x, capable of transmitting up to four fully synchronized HD signals from a single unit, it also stands out for offering a large touch screen and a new wired remote control, with field operators can easily start and stop direct drives, and monitor battery status. Additionally, with the Dejero Control cloud-based management system, EnGo units can be controlled remotely, preview incoming signals and distribute content from anywhere.
GateWay 3220 y WayPoint
Dejero has also taken advantage of its presence in IBC 2024 to present to the European public the new GateWay 3220, a rugged and compact network aggregation device powered by Dell Technologies. This solution also integrates Dejero Smart Blending technology to provide “unparalleled reliability” for mission-critical mobile connectivity.
Designed and manufactured to offer optimal combined connectivity at the edge of a network, the GateWay 3320 integrates a ruggedized, fanless chassis that allows it to be installation in vehicles and portable kits for resilient connectivity to the Internet, cloud applications, and private networks. Furthermore, the small dimensions of this product are suitable for those contexts where space is limited and mobile connectivity is not easily available or is not capable of supporting the bandwidth necessary for large data/file transfers.
Finally, IBC unveiled its new virtual receiver WayPoint, based on technology Linux. This solution, created to serve as the basis for all cloud-based IP formats and currently capable of managing formats RTMP y RTMPS, will soon be compatible with IS y SRT.
