+24 offers live, and simultaneously, all the points of interest in the Vatican
RTVE begins special programming to cover minute by minute the Conclave that will elect Benedict XVI's successor.
During the conclave, users of +24, the new application launched by RTVE.ES and Canal 24 Horas, will have access to all points of interest simultaneously, including the permanent and live image of the chimney that will announce the white smoke when there is a new Pope.
In addition to simultaneously offering the specials that are broadcast on La 1, Canal 24 Horas will be the reference channel for the conclave and will broadcast all the continuous information that occurs throughout the day. Tomorrow, Tuesday, there will be a special program on the occasion of the Pro-Electing Pontiff mass at 10 in the morning from St. Peter's Square.
For its part, RTVE.ES will recount the meeting and the election of the new pope minute by minute, with the analysis of everything surrounding the conclave and the best images from the Vatican. In addition, an explanatory graphic will cover all the phases of the conclave, from the 'Extra homnes' to the 'Habemus papam', explaining the keys and rites that mark the meeting.
The after-dinner and evening editions of the News News will be broadcast starting Tuesday from Rome, presented by Ana Blanco and Marcos López, and La 1 will broadcast several special programs that can also be seen on the International Channel. RNE has launched special programming to follow up to the minute what is happening in the Vatican and is broadcasting the 'Diario de las 2' from there today.
