Cadena SER will simultaneously offer sport and information on FM with the launch of SER+
SER+ arises as a response to maintain a stable grid in the face of the continuous changes imposed by the new schedules of sports competitions.
The SER Chain goes one step further by thinking about the listeners with the creation of the SER+ network of stations. This launch responds to a triple objective: to give greater information coverage to the most notable extraordinary or special events in each location, reinforce the local presence of the SER at the local level and stabilize the usual grid of the SER in the face of events that now force it to be altered.
SER+ represents a extra local content because it allows for greater information coverage of extraordinary or particularly relevant events that occur in each location (high-impact press conferences, events, sports competitions, festivities...)
The new schedules of sports competitions have sometimes forced the usual grid to be altered, causing confusion in the listener.
SER+ will allow both sport and information to be offered simultaneously on FM, thus stabilizing the radio grid. To launch SER+, PRISA has dismantled its electronic music station, Maxima FM, from the majority of the country's provinces and can only continue to be heard on medium wave in Málaga, Asturias, Castellón, Gandía, Las Palmas, Barcelona, Girona, Lleida and Andorra. In addition, it can be followed online and through its application.
