Elements

The specialist in high-performance multimedia storage Elements will take advantage of its presence at IBC 2023 to showcase its complete cloud solution, which makes remote and collaborative workflows fluid and intuitive.

Its proposal is based on workspaces, a place where content is stored, allowing users to organize, access and share content based on permissions. Thanks to Elements Client, users assemble workspaces with a single click.

Elements allows the creation of workspaces in the cloud with the same intuitive user experience than local on-premise storage. From Client, users can also Easily mount and securely access Cloud Workspaces with just one click. This removes the usual complexities of working with cloud storage from the user experience.

Cloud Workspaces, like local drives, appear in the MacOS Finder or Windows Explorer. The result is fast, seamless access to the right content on any workstation.

The two factor authentication and the permission management scheme They guarantee the security of content and information. Global and granular policies can be set for content access, deletion and sharing. Users only see content that they have permission to access.

André Kamps, CEO of Elements, comments that "Cloud technologies allow us to create workflows that complement on-premises storage solutions. Our approach offers customers a practical balance of storage topologies for their business needs (or for their production workflows)."

Of note, the Elements platform allows users to build architectures from different cloud services simultaneously, seamlessly integrated with local storage when needed.

For very high performance, clients will need a service like AWS Elastic Block Store, which, on an Elements architecture, will deliver performance previously only available with high-end cloud-based storage. At the same time, they can integrate low-cost, long-term file storage such as AWS S3 or Backblaze B2.
