'The 2 news': twenty years of another way of telling information

TVE's veteran news program, The 2 News, turns 20 this Friday, November 7, and celebrates it today, Thursday, with a special edition that will review its two decades of history through its protagonists and with reports that will remember what this innovative format has meant in the news genre. Mara Torres, host of the program, will lead viewers through this edition full of surprises.
On November 7, 1994, The 2 News. Tonight's program will review the history of the news program through some of its protagonists, from pioneers such as Fran Llorente, Lorenzo Milá or Fernando Navarrete, to the current team led by José Luis Regalado.
Several reports will analyze how The 2 News The way news is told on television has changed. The format, characterized by a more accessible style, represented an innovation in the news genre that has influenced many subsequent programs.
In addition, the 20th anniversary special will remember the bet of The 2 News por las historias que, normalmente, no tenían cabida en los informativos: noticias relacionadas con los derechos humanos, que buscaban dar voz a las minorías, o los reportajes sobre ecología.
Junto a ello, ‘La 2 Noticias’ repasará las imágenes más insólitas que han emitido a lo largo de estos veinte años de historia en la televisión. También anécdotas y curiosidades que el equipo del programa quiere compartir con todos sus seguidores y espectadores.
