For-A will exhibit the new Super Slow Mo FT-One 4K camera at Cine Gear Expo
The Japanese company will also show FT-1READ, a RAW to DPX data converter developed with the FT-One in mind.
For-A will show the possibilities of the new Full 4K Super Slow Motion camera, FT-One, coinciding with the Cine Gear Expo that will take place on May 3rd and June 1st at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. The Japanese company will also exhibit FT-1READ, a RAW to DPX data converter developed with the FT-One in mind.
This camera, whose prototype was already unveiled at Cine Gear last year, allows a 4K workflow with the possibility of simultaneously recording and playing back images at Full 4K resolution. Its sensor, FT1-CMOS, is capable of collecting up to 900 frames per second, storing uncompressed raw data images in its internal memory with a recording capacity of 9.4 seconds or in one of the two SSD cartridges, each with a capacity of 84 seconds at Full HD.
Now, thanks to the FT-1READ, it will be possible to remove RAW data from SSD drives, import them, record the information and convert it into a DPX file.
The FT-One uses PL-mount lenses and a special shutter system that allows you to capture objects and people at high speed in complete detail at 4K resolution.
