For-A will debut a new version of its Super Slow Mo FT-One 4K camera at Cine Gear Expo

For-A will exhibit the latest version of its Super Slow Mo FT-One Full 4K camera at Cine Gear Expo 2014. The event, which will take place from June 5 to 8 at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, will also serve to show the new FT-1READ, a RAW-DPX converter for the FT-One camera.

The new version of the FT-One offers fiber input and output connectivity, facilitating its use when filming outdoors. The FT-1READ is an option available with the FT-One for easy file conversion. This equipment takes RAW data from SSD drives, importing all the recorded information and converting it into a DPX file, a common file for editing and color grading.

This camera has been used in a wide variety of television programs and digital film shoots. It has a high sensitivity CMOS sensor (the FT1-CMOS) that offers Full 4K (4096 x 2160 pixels). One output channel can provide QFHD (four 1080p 3G-SDI outputs), while the other output channel provides HD-SDI downconversion for live tracking of the video being collected.
