For-A launches a new version of its 4K camera
The new FT-One-S allows you to separate the body from the head, achieving unprecedented recordings from production positions and angles in sports and other live events.
During NAB 2015, For-A will showcase the new version of its 4K camera with variable frame rate. The new FT-One-S is a smaller version which will improve its versatility and ergonomics. First shown last November at BEE Show (Japan) it will be shown for the first time in the United States during this NAB.
Building on advanced super-slow 4K recording technology, FT-One-S allows users to separate the body from the camera head, achieving unprecedented recordings from production positions and angles in sports and other live events.
The camera link allows field recording at distances of up to one kilometer to the base station.
The camera measures around 18×19.9×28.9 centimeters and weighs two and a half kilos.
The unit can capture up to 360 frames per second. Another feature of the FT-One-S is a 35mm super sensor that is water and dust resistant. It also includes video output for live color correction using a 12-axis system, which is primarily used for adjusting coloration between scenes, or ensuring color consistency with video recording from other cameras.
