Avonic debuts new PTZ camera and controller with IP support
The new PTZ CM40-IP has a 20x zoom (con sensor CMOS de Panasonic) includes full support for operation within an IP network.
Avonic has launched the PTZ camera CM40-IP and the CON300-IP series controller IP based for PTZ cameras. In addition to adding IP functionality to its popular PTZ and controller, it has introduced general improvements that make them a proposition to consider.
The CM40-IP features a 20x zoom, is available in black and white, and includes full support for operation within an IP network.
In addition to the very low latency IP H.264/H.265 streaming dual concurrency, supports 3G-SDI, HDMI and USB 2.0 outputs. Su sensor CMOS de Panasonic It offers a high SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) for exceptional image quality, and the camera is capable of a wide range of output formats up to 1080p60.
This PTZ is compatible with Skype for Business, can be controlled via RS485 and RS232 (and legacy protocols), as well as via IP, and supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) using industry standard PoE switches for hassle-free installation. Thus, a single cable provides connectivity, control and power.
Avonic has provided this camera with a “privacy” mode which automatically rotates the head back when not recording, a very useful feature in corporate environments.
IP Controller
The new CON300-IP is a development of Avonic's CM300 controller. It is compatible with legacy cameras using RS485 and RS232 interfaces, as well as Avonic's range of IP-based cameras, including the CM40-IP PTZ camera.
Can control up to 50 cameras through a serial interface and more than 250 via IP. Nine presets are available for each camera, while a joystick provides 3D pan/tilt/zoom functionality. The user has direct control of iris, brightness and color correction, and the CM300-IP supports both auto and manual focus, as well as PTZ motion speed control.
The unit features five RJ45 and RS485 style RS232/485 serial connectors on a Phoenix connector. An RJ45 LAN connection is also provided.
