Rohde & Schwarz has introduced a new version of its Broadcast Server & Control Center (BSCC). He R&S BSCC2.0 It builds on the success of its predecessor, which is providing the heart in several 5G Broadcast/Multicast pilot experiences in regional markets as diverse as Germany, Brazil and China.
Using BSCC2.0, broadcasters and network operators can offer more mobile services, such as onair updates and improvements, automotive services, e-Learning, on-demand multimedia streaming, public alert announcements, e-sports...
A cornerstone of 5G Broadcast is its ability to provide mobile users access to high-quality video content. For this, the BSCC2.0 is compatible with a wide range of streaming platforms. These new streaming services will become a reality as new algorithms and protocols are implemented within the 5G Broadcast environment, including FLUTE (File Delivery over Unidirectional Transport Stream), DASH (Dynamic Adaptive Steaming over HTTP) and HLS (HTTP Live Streaming).
La nueva red central de 5G Broadcast/Multicast All-In-One de Rohde & Schwarz ofrece la flexibility, scalability and performance that customers need for mobile broadcast services and leads customers' journey into the world of 5G Broadcast/Multicast. The company's software-oriented solution makes the customer's core network more flexible, efficient and open.
BSCC2.0 helps customer reduce costs, add more agility and meet the demands of future mobile and fixed broadcast and multicast services. It is based on a new modular software architecture to achieve better protection against software overload.
BSCC2.0 represents a new and radically different approach to managing Broadcast/Multicast operations over 5G. Several key factors differentiate it from rival solutions, including support for 3GPP version 16, the integration of protocols Transport Streams over IP (TsoIP) and the multiservice support. Based on its specialized experience in mobile transmission technology, BSCC 2.0 has integrated multi-TX connection support, as well as single-frequency network (SFN) and multi-frequency network (MFN) transmission support.
