The latest 5G workflows applied to broadcast production, contribution and distribution will be present at NAB 2022 by the hand of Rohde & Schwarz.

Rohde & Schwarz will present important improvements in Las Vegas throughout different stages of the broadcast, focusing its proposal especially on the software defined solutions, in the cloud tools or in the broadcast 5G.

Looking ahead to NAB 2022, the firm will present together with Pixel Power an integrated workflow solution that goes from intake to emission which includes solutions monitoring, multiview and storage. These workflow solutions are available today on-premises, virtualized in a data center, or in the public cloud.

Finally, in the distribution section, Rohde & Schwarz will coordinate a live demonstration of broadcast 5G Broadcast which will show “how the distribution of content on the move is being redefined.” To carry it out, the company will use its latest transmitter technology, highly energy efficient and compatible with standards such as ATSC 3.0.
