New version of the Camera Corps Mini PTZF Joystick
The popular ultra-compact controller for pan/tilt heads is updated to version 3 and includes support for Q-Ball Pre-Set mini-cameras.
Camera Corps, a Vitec Group company, has announced the latest version of its ultra-compact Mini Joystick. Launched to coincide with NAB 2010, this Mini Joystick was designed for applications in small spaces as well as camera control for mobile units. Allows you to control up to five pan/tilt heads from a wide range of manufacturers.
Version 3 of the PTZF Mini Joystick is now optimized for use with up to five Q-Ball Pre-Set cameras remotely controlled for pan, tilt, zoom and focus. The equipment allows up to ten positions per head to be configured and reconfigured. Data input from an external camera control unit, data output and power can be received simultaneously from a single connection on the controller.
Three rotary controls on the joystick allow individual adjustment of pan/tilt and zoom speed, being able to configure up to three different values for each of the five Q-Ball Pre-Set. These same controls can be used for adjustment functions such as manual and automatic iris and red or blue gain.
Now available on the market, the third version of the PTZF Mini Joystick operates directly with 8 to 18 volt power from an adapter or battery. The dimensions of the panel are 190x140x110 mm, with a weight of 400 grams.
