The Vitec group buys the British Camera Corps
The Vitec group has just announced the purchase of the British Camera Corps, integrating it into its Videocom division.
Camera Corps, a British company specialized in remote camera systems with innovative solutions that have caused a lot of talk in recent years, will now pass into the hands of the group Vitec.
Based in Byfleet (London), Camera Corps has high-level solutions in its portfolio including cranes, robotic camera systems, underwater cameras, and other capture solutions in the most extreme conditions.
From now on, it will be integrated into Vitec's Videocom division, which brings together renowned brands, completing the existing range of lighting products, tripods, robotic cameras...
This purchase will open new markets for Vitec in sports, reality and entertainment production.
