Broad portfolio of the Vitec group at NAB 2012

The Vitec group will show at NAB 2012 the latest developments from Petrol, Litepanels, Sachtler, Vinten and Radamec.

The group Vitec will attend one more year with an extensive portfolio of solutions for transportation, fixing and lighting.

Petrol Bags will launch a new range of bags and cases for audio and camera equipment including the Liteporter, a new bag that has been specially designed to carry and protect Litepanel 1×1 LED luminaires.

The new Rolling DigiSuite DSLR Camera Bag is a compact bag on wheels specially designed for the always-on-the-go DSLR professional. Petrol is preparing to introduce two new bags for LCD monitors.

In lighting, Litepanels will also include new LED lighting products, achieving effective proposals with LED Fresnel luminaires by introducing a new product from its Sola Fresnel range of balanced daylight, along with the completely new range of Inca Fresnels in balanced tungsten.

Litepanels is also preparing to unveil new LED luminaires for cameras, the Croma (with variable color and temperature) and Luma (daylight).

As far as tripods and heads are concerned, highlight the O-Focus Dual Mini, a compact follow-focus unit that is used with lenses for still and cinema cameras and is offered in two versions, Photo Set and Cine Set.

The Ultimate 1030D and 1030Ds Fluid heads deliver the performance expected from a large fluid head in a 13.6kg system. (1030D) and 18.6 kg. (1030Ds), making them perfect for use with lightweight, full-frame sensor cameras such as the RED Epic and Scarlet, Sony F3 and Canon C300. Also making the news will be the universal hot shoe designed to adapt small and mid-sized film cameras to the thousands of accessories that are available on the professional film market.

For the first time in the United States, Sachtler is preparing to introduce its Ace M fluid head and tripod system, the ideal camera support for freelance camera operators and DSLR filmmakers.

You can also find the Video 18 S1 and Video 20 S1 fluid ENG/EPF heads, fluid cinema heads such as the Cine 7+7 and Cine DSLR and the FSB range.

Curt O. Schaller, inventor of Artemis, will also present the new features of the Cine HD Pro modular camera stabilization system.

Also on view will be Vinten's Vision Blue, its Vision AS range, Vision 100 and 250, the Vector range including the new Vector 430S and a large selection of studio and OB pedestals, as well as tripods and accessories.

Finally, in robotic systems, Vinten Radamec will unveil its new series of FH-145 and FHR-145 heads that incorporate an intelligent engineering control (ICE) platform.

ICE provides better control and precision in a highly compact format so broadcasters can transmit the best possible image in both the virtual and real worlds.

An upgrade for virtual reality environments with the FHR-35 will also be released, providing broadcasters the ability to use the head in a wide range of both government and studio applications.
