Public commitment in R&D 2013-2020: challenges and opportunities of the ICT sector

AMETIC, through its recently renewed international R&D Project Office, APARECH 2020, organizes the informative day The public bet on R&D 2013-2020. CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES OF THE ICT SECTOR whose purpose is to publicize the new strategy of public aid to support innovation whose turning point is the year 2013 in which the policies of promotion of R & D & I will until 2020 will be defined.

The new Spanish Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation 2013-2020 as well as the new State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2013-2016, which these days publishes its first calls, will be released in this informative day in which the final version of the European Research and Innovation Framework Program 2014-2020-Horizon 2020 and the program for the competitiveness of companies and Pymes 2014-2020, will also called Cosme.

In the Ametic R&D department they are working so that Spanish companies and research centers familiarize themselves with this new context, are correctly located within this new public aid structure and, above all, start as soon as possible the process of maturation of project ideas.

The main objective of the day is that interested entities know firsthand the new national and international structure of public support to R&D and thus be able to position themselves based on their technical capacity, their application sector and their size.
