These days, Telecinco Cinema is rushing the last weeks of filming The boy. After filming in Morocco, Algeciras and Gibraltar for just over two months, the team faces the last three weeks of action in Telecinco's big bet for 2014. Almería and Gran Canaria will be the last destinations of this ambitious production.

Its director, Daniel Monzón, has once again trusted Luis Tossar, with whom he already worked with notable success in Celda 211, for this thriller set in the fight against drug trafficking in the vicinity of Gibraltar.

Monzón has assured that “The boy It is the story of some boys who play at being drug traffickers, and their destinies intersect with those of some police officers for whom life stopped being a game a long time ago. “It is a contemporary, recognizable adventure story that is happening today in the complex and fascinating universe of the Straits.”

In the plot of this film, it has played a fundamental role that the fiction faithfully reproduced the day-to-day life of the State Security Corps and Forces. For this reason, the production team closed collaboration agreements with the National Police, Civil Guard and Customs.

Thanks to this collaboration, a Police helicopter commanded by pilot Luis Bardón is being used in some filming scenes, who is starring in spectacular chases flying over the sea. Fox will distribute the film in Spanish theaters, with its premiere scheduled to coincide with next year's San Sebastian Festival.
