The Innocents (ESCAC)

ESCAC Films, produced by the Higher School of Cinema and Audiovisuals of Catalonia (ESCAC), will participate in the next edition of the Sitges Festival with The innocent, a project developed by the school's fourth-year students.

After the success of the project Puzzled Love, now it is the turn of the students of the 15th management class of the ESCAC, who in The innocent They have opted for a very free terror, without complexes and with a hooligan air. It is a story in the slasher genre and aimed at a teenage audience.

The innocent It is a choral piece, shot in 27 days and with a minimal budget. An exciting project in which students from all specialties (screenwriters, directors, editors, sound engineers, art directors, VFX...) have been involved to give shape to a feature film that, far from attempting to standardize the vision of its twelve directors, flags the peculiarity that makes it original, fresh and striking.

In this story, nine young people decide to spend April Fool's Day skiing. After getting lost, they decide not to waste the trip and party at the old abandoned hostel 12 Hills. Rumors say that the hostel has a curse that takes place every December 28. Despite warnings from locals, the young people decide to continue with the plan. It's all partying, sex and alcohol until they begin to fall victim to macabre murderous pranks.

The innocent will premiere in the Panorama section of the upcoming 2013 Sitges Film Festival.
