Beyond operational flexibility and price, Harris' graphics system has allowed this broadcaster to include graphics that differentiate them from other low-budget channels.

The CLC-TV 20 broadcaster offers local content from the city of Las Cruces in New Mexico based on a low-cost production scheme. The Inscriber TitleOne AE on-air graphics solution from Harris Broadcast is providing numerous possibilities to enrich the image on screen with a low-budget proposal.

Adrián Guzmán, head of media operations and production coordinator, admits that "given the budgets we manage, price is a key factor in our purchases. We were very surprised by the low cost of the Harris Broadcast system given its features and capabilities it offers. Our multichannel approach allows us to have this system that does not limit us to requiring a specific output for each channel. It is a very flexible design, and you can get much more content compared to other systems we evaluated."

Beyond operational flexibility and price, the Harris graphics system has allowed this broadcaster to insert lower flaps with subtle movements that breathe new life to the screen. They can also integrate and output video files with an audio output directly from Inscriber TitleOne AE.

"We primarily use Inscriber TitleOne AE for live city council meetings. We used to use a standalone media player for our open graphics with audio, and then go back to the live stream. Harris Broadcast helped cut down a step and eliminate an extra device. We're also doing things you don't usually see on these types of low-budget channels like picture-in-picture."
