An IBC 2013, Fujinon Presents these days its new PL 14-35mm Cabrio lens that incorporates a removable digital servo drive. In this way, the Cabrio can be used as a stand-alone ENG-type lens or as a cine-type lens. When used without the drive, standard cinema motors can be included.
The PL 14-35mm lens, which has been designed using the latest generation of optical simulation software, offers exceptional performance in the center of the image and in the corners.
The 16-bit encoding of the digital servo ensures that all lens output data, including zoom position, iris and focus, is extremely accurate. The PL 14-35mm lens supports Lens Data System (LDS) and i-metadata formats and can be controlled using standard wireless controllers, in addition to existing wired and wireless Fujinon units.
The Fujinon PL 14-35mm lens lenses represent the latest development of the company's Cabrio series, which includes the recently introduced Premier PL 19-90mm and PL 85-300mm lens lenses.
