Grupo Secuoya grew by 83% in the first half of 2013
Operating income amounted to 19 million euros, 8% more than in the same period of 2012.
The Secuoya group has closed the first half of the year with a net profit of 491,500 euros, which represents a growth of 83% compared to the results of June 2012.
Operating income amounted to 19 million euros, 8% more than in the same period of 2012. The gross operating result (adjusted EBITDA) would amount to 3.58 million euros, which would represent an increase of 8% compared to the first half of 2012.
These significant data, which show a tangible increase in both turnover and EBITDA, do not express, however, the true growth potential expected of the Group for the 2013 financial year since it will be in the last half of the year when the most significant contracts signed will have an impact on the income statement.
For its part, it places its bank financial debt at 11.5 million euros compared to 9.1 million in 2012, barely a slight growth despite the amount of investments undertaken that support it as one of the companies that has grown the most. This consonance between the commitment to expansion in business development and an exemplary EBITDA debt ratio has been possible thanks to the commitment of the partners embodied in the signing of a participatory loan contract for an amount of two million euros in order to finance investments derived from contracts signed by Grupo Secuoya.
As a strategic provider of audiovisual content, its latest projects include docu-reality Police in action for La Sexta; the series Live Singing on Antena 3, the renewal of Spaniards around the world for TVE as well as the launch of the series Victor Ros for the state channel.
Furthermore, it is worth noting that in the first six months of the year, Secuoya has renewed and extended the term of all outsourcing contracts with the different national and regional chains. So far this year, the group has launched new lines of business such as the constitution of Novigo Interactive, a company integrated since last March into the Marketing and Communication area of Secuoya and that provides innovative interactive solutions. In addition, the group has created the Viewin brand, a global content management network through YouTube channels, the most used audiovisual content web platform on the Internet.
