Infoadex estimates that television stations have gone from earning 1,028 million euros in the first half of 2015 to 1,114.9 million euros in the first six months of this year.

According to the Infoadex report, advertising investment on television would have increased by 8.4% in the first half of 2016. This figure is much higher than the average growth in all media, which increased by 4.7%.

Infoadex estimates that television stations have gone from earning 1,028 million euros in the first half of 2015 to 1,114.9 million euros in the first six months of this year.

Mediaset España is in the lead with an investment of 486.3 million euros compared to Atresmedia's 479.4 million. Although the difference between both groups is barely 7 million euros, Mediaset is growing at a rate of 9.4% while Atresmedia is growing at 8.8%.

As a whole, national free-to-air television would have experienced an increase of 9.2% to reach 1,010.4 million euros. However, the regional governments continue to decline in advertising investment, achieving only 4.8% of turnover (63.6 million euros).

On the other hand, the consulting firm Arce-i2P estimates the investment in the first half of the year at 2,104.2 million euros, and a positive variation of 3.8% compared to the first six months of 2015. According to these data, it would be the Atresmedia group that would lead the ranking with 528.2 million euros compared to the 484 million euros it grants to Mediaset España.

With regard to radio, Infoadex grants an investment of 190.7 million euros compared to 187.4 in the first half of last year, which represents an increase of 1.7%.
