The CNMC decides the distribution of directors per room
Eduardo García Matilla, José María Guinart, Clotilde de la Higuera and Diego Rodríguez, assigned to the Sector Regulatory Supervision Room.
The council of the National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC) has decided to assign its advisors to the two Chambers of Competition and Sectoral Regulatory Supervision. In this way, Idoia Zenarruzatbeitia, María Ortiz, Fernando Torremocha and Benigno Valdés will be assigned to the Competition Room. While Eduardo García Matilla, José María Guinart, Clotilde de la Higuera and Diego Rodríguez, will go to the Sector Regulation Room.
The CNMC is an independent body of the Government, which began its operation on October 7, whose objective is to guarantee and ensure the proper functioning of the free market. It will be made up of two rooms. The first is Competition, which will be chaired by President José María Marín, and the second is Sector Regulation, which will be headed by Vice President María Fernández. Each of them consists of four advisors who will rotate from time to time. Both rooms will keep each other informed of their activities to ensure coordination.
