Autodesk, Abertis Telecom, Panasonic, EVS, VSN, Eurocom, 7 y Acción, Association of Audiovisual Production Professionals (APPA) and the Confederation of Audiovisual Producers (FAPAE) star in the workshops on the first day of Broadcast IT Experience.

Within the extensive Broadcast IT Experience programming, three windows have been included in which professionals can learn first-hand about the latest solutions for the sector and exchange impressions with prominent film and television producers.

This Tuesday, in the morning session, workshops were organized by Autodesk, Abertis Telecom, Panasonic and EVS.

Autodesk ha centrado su taller en su solución de finishing editorial “todo en uno”, Smoke, impartido por Joe Billington, M&E Technical Specialist Autodesk (Sala N116).

In a workshop focused on hybrid DTT (Room N113), Xavier Redón, Product Manager of Abertis Telecom, shared with professionals how Hybrid DTT works and what services broadcasters will be able to offer to viewers thanks to this technology. Some technical concepts of Hybrid DTT and HbbTV have also been described in a simple way: versions of HbbTV v1 and v1.5, MPEG DASH adaptive streaming, content protection through DRM, user measurement and device certification.

Por otro lado, Panasonic (Sala N114) ha puesto el foco en su workshop en las nuevas posibilidades que ofrece el streaming. Jaume Miró, Technical Product Manager de Panasonic Broadcast&ProAV España y Jordi Castañé Deu, director de La Llucana (compañía especializada en producción, realización y difusión de la señal de audio y vídeo por streaming) compartirán las soluciones que brinda Panasonic para streaming así como los nuevos modelos de negocio que conlleva la distribución sobre redes IP.

The last workshop in the morning of the 29th was coordinated by EVS (Room N115), and under the title From Production to Multiscreen. File-based Workflows, Yeray Alfageme, Pre Sales and Project Engineer EVS, the ideas and concepts that have taken us from the old tape-based production to file-based work environments, including tapeless, have been presented. Alfageme has focused on how this has influenced our way of working and the final result of our productions, the multiscreen.

Already on the afternoon of Tuesday the 29th, at 4:30 p.m. Broadcast IT Experience will host five workshops coordinated by VSN, Eurocom, 7 y Acción, Association of Audiovisual Production Professionals (APPA) and the Confederation of Audiovisual Producers (FAPAE).

In room N115, VSN organizes the Industrialize and Share workshop. Opensource Solutions for the Audiovisual Business taught by Carles Rams, director of Technology and Professional Services at VSN.

On the other hand, Francisco José Menchen, CEO of Eurocom Broadcast, will address issues related to the management of television integration projects in room N114. Precisely one of the factors that makes Eurocom stand out is its innovative project management system through which costs and development time are saved, with the client being up to date and online with everything that is being executed.

Juanjo Carretero, Digital Cinema Manager at Deluxe Spain and representing APPA, will coordinate a workshop in room N116 under the title Metamorphosis in Film Distribution. Analysis of digital formats in post-production processesFor their part, in a workshop organized by FAPAE, Fabia Buenaventura, general director of the Confederation and Manuel Sanabria, creative director of Isla Producciones, will raise issues related to independent television production and its necessary diversification.

Closing the workshops on Tuesday the 29th, Jorge Salvador, director and executive producer of highly successful entertainment spaces such as The Anthill, will share with the professionals who attend Broadcast IT Experience (Room N113) details of the production flows and internationalization of the format of one of the great primetime television phenomena.
