The Constelaciones exhibition in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro includes a selection of recently produced Spanish films not yet released in Argentina and Brazil, with the aim of supporting the international distribution of Spanish cinema.

Pablo Berger (Photo: RTVE)The SGAE Foundation has organized the Constelaciones exhibition in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro, which includes a selection of recently produced Spanish films not yet released in Argentina and Brazil, with the aim of supporting the international distribution of Spanish cinema: 17 works that will be exhibited from October 31 to November 14. A current x-ray of diverse genres and themes, which includes films by established authors and young talents, and which reflects the richness and variety of the current panorama of Spanish cinema.

The series, which starts in Argentina and takes place in the Arte Multiplex Belgrano cinemas in Buenos Aires, from October 31 to November 6, with the collaboration of the ICAA (Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports) and the INCAA (National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts), includes the exhibition of 11 productions. Blancanieves, by Pablo Berger, opens the exhibition, whose inauguration will be carried out by Inés París, institutional director of audiovisuals at the SGAE Foundation; María Núñez, international affairs manager at INCAA (National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts), and Adrián Ortiz, manager of Lumières Films and programmer at Arte Multiplex.

Grupo 7, de Alberto Rodríguez; Buscando a Emish, de Ana Rodríguez Rosell; También la lluvia, de Icíar Bollaín; Pa negre, de Agustí Villaronga; Los niños salvajes, de Patricia Ferreira; Eva, de Kike Maíllo; Diamond Flash, de Carlos Vermut; El cuerpo, de Oriol Paulo; y Secuestrados, de Miguel Ángel Vivas, completan el ciclo que clausurará Las Brujas de Zugarramurdi, de Álex de la Iglesia, con la presencia del director en un coloquio moderado por Antonio Onetti, presidente de la Fundación SGAE.

Constelaciones also includes the round table Cinema without borders, in which Patricia Ferreira and the Argentine directors Daniel Burman and Pablo Giorgelli will participate; a master class by Álex de la Iglesia, and the presentation of the Ibero-American Film Dictionary, edited by the SGAE Foundation, with Inés París and Bucky Butkovic, coordinator of the volume dedicated to Argentine cinematography.
