Short films of any genre and free theme may be submitted, not exceeding 45 minutes, produced in the last two years.

Short SGAEThe SGAE Foundation, fulfilling its objective of promoting the promotion of audiovisual genres of special interest such as short films, announces the SGAE en Corto 2018 program, in order to host works for exhibition in theaters throughout this year.

The deadline for submitting audiovisual works began on April 20 and will remain open until May 31.

This call is open to the participation of all authors of short films, members of the SGAE. Short films of any genre and free theme may be submitted, not exceeding 45 minutes, produced in the last two years.

The works must be presented in Spanish or with subtitles in that language. For projection, they will be accepted on 35mm media or master copy on Blu-Ray or DCP envelope. If the work has been presented in other SGAE en Corto calls, it is not necessary to present the material again, as long as it is reported in this call.

The selected short films will be screened at the Sala Berlanga (Andrés Mellado, 53 Madrid), with the possibility of being rescheduled, during the six months following their screening in other theaters dependent on SGAE or the SGAE Foundation throughout Spain.
