The colloquium ‘TVE's support for the creation of Children's Animation Series’ will be taught by the DESPONSABLE OF CHILD CONTENTS OF TVE, Yago Fandiño, during the mythlantic.

Yago FandiñoThe Galego Audiovisual Cluster (CLG) collaborates with the market of Atlantic Cultural Industries, Miactlántica, through the organization of a colloquium with the head of children's content of TVE, Yago Fandiño, and with the producers of the Galician audiovisual sector. The meeting will take place on November 25 in the city of culture in Santiago and is part of the Forum of mythlantics.

The cluster will hold a session on “TVE's support for the creation of children's animation series”, taught by the director of Clan, Yago Fandiño, in collaboration with mythlantic, which will take place from November 23 to 26 in Compostela.

Miactlántica is jointly organized by the Xunta de Galicia and the Ministry of Culture of the Presidency of the Argentine Nation. This is the first meeting between Argentine, Spanish and Portuguese businessmen through Galicia, with the aim of developing the cultural industries of these territories and contributing to the exchange and growth of their cultural goods and services. In the market the sectors of the performing arts, audiovisual, design and crafts, editorial, music and video games will be represented.

The TV Clan director will participate in one of the two mythlantic forums that will be held on Monday, day 25. The colloquium will be presented by the president of the CLG, Andrés Barbé, and moderated by Chelo Loureiro (Frano produces). Participation to this forum is open to professionals and the general public, and assistance is free until capacity is completed.

Expert in new technologies and child entertainment

Yago Fandiño reached the direction of the Clan Canal (TVE) in the month of December 2012. He is responsible for children's television programs and is also in front of the interactive content in the children's area. The vital and professional trajectory of Yago Fandiño was linked to new communication technologies, and more specifically to communication and child entertainment.
This training journalist has extensive experience in integrated web/TV projects.

His work was recognized with the 2011 ATURIAS AWARDS, by the Smartphones clan application; Chaval jury award for the best children's website 2010; 2009 Andaluna Prize for the Promotion of Children's Rights and 2005 Best Children Website, Metrixlab.
Yago Fandiño represented the European public broadcasters in sector meetings in Korea and regularly participate in round tables and professional meetings. In 2011 he participated in advisory meetings for the elaboration of the new National Strategic Plan for Children and Adolescents. He also collaborated with the Colombian government as an international expert in child communication.

CLOG colloquium cycle

With this meeting, the CLG continues to develop its cycle of colloquiums aimed at the producers of the Gallego audiovisual sector, which began last January with an exposure by the general director of the Institute of Cinematography and the Performing Arts (Icaa), Susana de la Sierra, on the support of its institution to the Spanish cinematography. In April, at that time director of the TVE film area, Eva Cebrián, transferred to Galician producers the policies carried out by the public television channel in relation to Spanish cinema.
