The Secrets, for the first time in 3D
The veteran Madrid band records a 3D concert coinciding with the 3Dday celebration in Madrid.
On the occasion of the celebration of 3Dday in Madrid, Sgo has organized a party for industry professionals who have been able to enjoy a Los Secretos concert.
During the concert that took place in the Moby Dick room, for the first time, the veteran band was recorded in 3D in a production directed by Ángel Fernández and with Paco Pérez Romero (AEC) in the photograph.
For this stereoscopic production, Sgo has had the collaboration of several companies that have taken the opportunity to demonstrate to their clients the possibilities that 3D provides and the evolution experienced in recent years.
"Steroscopy does not bite and it can be done with quite normal material... you have to lose your fear. Doing it well is not that difficult, just know how to do it and invite people who, if they are going to do it wrong, better not do it because for everyone it would be bread for today and hunger for tomorrow. With this experience of recording Los Secretos in 3D we intend to show how a simple 3D workflow is viable with affordable equipment costs," said Miguel Ángel Doncel, CEO of Sgo.
For this experience, two stereoscopic rigs of P+S Technik (one of them, in its Freestyle version on a crane Egripment supplied by Muxart) and four cameras: two Sony X3 and two Alexa ARRI. All this equipment has been supplied by Ovid.
Sgo's Mistika 4k has been used as a filming assistant along with the video assistant system developed by Ovide.
As for audio, a table has been used Yamaha M7CL with microphone AKG.
