The renewed Mac Pro Apple It is now available on order today. Completely redesigned, the innovative new Mac Pro features Intel's latest Xeon processors, dual high-performance workstation-style GPUs, PCIe-based flash storage, and ultra-fast ECC memory.

Designed around an innovative unified thermal core, the new Mac Pro packs unprecedented performance into an aluminum design that measures just 10 inches tall and takes up one-eighth the volume of the previous generation Mac Pro.

The new Mac Pro features Intel Xeon processors with 4, 6, 8 or 12 cores at Turbo Boost speeds of up to 3.9 GHz and two workstation-type AMD FirePro GPUs that offer up to eight times the graphics performance of the previous generation of Mac Pro.

PCIe-based flash storage delivers up to 10x faster sequential read speeds than conventional hard drives, and DDR3 ECC memory gives the new Mac Pro up to 60GBps of memory bandwidth to efficiently edit 4K resolution video while simultaneously processing effects in the background. Thanks to its six Thunderbolt 2 ports, each offering up to 20 Gbps of bandwidth per external device, the new Mac Pro completely redefines the expansion possibilities of a desktop computer, incorporating support for connecting up to 36 high-performance peripherals, including next-generation 4K monitors.
