3alacarta available now on TiVo

TV3 content and channels, also in HD and 3D, are available through this platform, in which television and the Internet converge.

tv3alacarta, the video on demand service of Televisió de Catalunya, is now also accessible through TiVo, the smart television system widely implemented in the United States and which the fiber optic telecommunications operator Ono has exclusively in Spain. The application was presented this morning in Barcelona, ​​during the presentation of TiVo in Catalonia.

With TiVo, TV3's offer incorporates one of the most advanced services in the world of connected televisions. Based on a recorder with a capacity for 200 hours of programming, this system can record two channels at the same time and stop, go back and go forward again, in slow or fast motion, on the content that is being broadcast live. It also allows you to schedule recordings remotely from any computer.

The service offers the channels and other content of Televisió de Catalunya, also in HD and 3D, and is equipped with an intelligent system capable of recognizing user preferences and processing them, to recommend the content that best suits them, in a personalized way.

In addition to having TV3alacarta content available, users of the TiVo service in Catalonia will be able to use the Catalan version of the service in the future, either to access television content or to browse applications and Internet content.

In addition to TiVo, TV3alacarta can be seen on the Internet, mobile phone, iPad, on consoles and on television, through “smart TVs” and hybrid television in its HbbTV standard.
