NBC OlImpics will have five Calrec Artemis consoles at Sochi 2014
Calrec has been collaborating with NBC on Olympic coverage since Atlanta '96.
NBC Olympics will use five Artemis digital consoles during the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Calrec Audio.
David Mazza, Senior Vice President of Engineering, NBC Olympics, and Henry Goodman, Head of Sales and Marketing, Calrec Audio have announced that the broadcaster has acquired two Artemis Shine 64-fader consoles and will lease additional 40- and 24-fader Artemis Beam consoles.
Karl Malone, director of sound design at NBC Olympics, was pleased to “work once again with Calrec Audio for the reliability and consistency of the Artemis consoles, which will help us achieve excellent audio quality across our NBC Olympics venues.”
In addition, Calrec will supply various stageboxes in digital, analog and MADI formats to meet all input and output needs. Calrec will provide technical support to NBC Olympics professionals during Sochi 2014, as has been customary since the Atlanta games in 1996.
