'Tell me how it happened' reaches its 15th season
All photography in the new installment is done with digital cinema cameras, the use of which implies changes in the staging and which contribute to underlining the quality of the image.
Tell me how it happened, produced by TVE in collaboration with Ganga, the season begins in 1982, a year of which the Spanish have vivid memories: the defeat of Adolfo Suárez and the rise of Felipe González to the presidency of the Government; The World Cup in Spain, the visit of John Paul II, or the Rolling Stones concert are part of a list of events that has earned 1982 the title of the year of change. All of this will feed the historical plots of the series.
With this installment, a new way of telling fiction arrives on the sets of the TVE series. All photography is done with cinematographic cameras whose use implies changes in the staging and which contribute to underlining the quality of the image and the interpretive values of the fantastic cast. Besides, Tell me how it happened continues to transport the viewer to the scenes of our most recent history in shoots such as those on election night, in which more than seventy extras participated.
Scenarios and natural locations that this season include not only places in Madrid, but also in Arahuetes, in Segovia, Bargas, Pinto, Colmenar de Oreja and Chinchón, and which have hosted everything from the filming of a barbarian film to the possible fall of Antonio Alcántara from the Arahuetes bell tower.
The use of the TVE archive, with the insertion of the characters in key moments, continues to be one of the hallmarks of the series.
The director of TVE, Ignacio Corrales, has highlighted that this stage "starts in a wonderful and exceptional year, 1982. All seasons are special, but in this one Ganga has surpassed itself again, with many new features both in the plots and from an artistic and technical point of view." For Miguel Ángel Bernardeau, executive producer of the series, this "is not just another season, it is the beginning of a new stage. It was time to take a risk and that is what we have done."
It will be "a complete, complex and fun season" according to TVE's Fiction director, Fernando López-Puig, who has said that 'Cuéntame' is masterful and that is why it is so easy to watch." Imanol Arias has explained that the year that begins for the Alcántara family, "is going to be a year of a lot of Betadine: you will see how wounds that seem healed, in reality were not healed. “We are all on the brink of the abyss, something that has a lot to do with the spirit of the 80s.”
To celebrate one of the most musically glorious years of the decade, the tune from the header of Tell me how it happened It is performed on this occasion by the group Los Secretos, whose songs have involved some of the great moments of the series.

Tell me how it happened returns to the screens after celebrating twelve years of broadcast and more than 250 episodes and with a 15th season ready to once again entertain and excite the more than five million viewers who said goodbye to the series last season. The TVE series, co-produced in collaboration with Ganga, ended its 14th season as the leader of Thursday prime time: more than 5 million people were watching the last episode, 25.5%, a figure that made it the most followed installment of the season. It achieved the 'golden minute' at the end of the episode, at 11:37 p.m., with 5,497,000 viewers, 29.7%.
RTVE.es travels to the 80s
RTVE.es celebrates the premiere of the 15th season of Tell me how it happened proposing users a journey through time. The cover will take you back to the 80s and offer navigation through the most notable content of the time, such as the legendary programs The golden age, blue summer, The Crystal Ball… At the same time, from 7 in the morning until 10:30 p.m., +TVE will intermittently broadcast special programming with the most notable programs and news from the 80s.
